Procedure for requesting an RA (return authorization)

If the product breaks during normal use during the warranty period, we will replace it, repair, or replace the defective parts, or the product itself with a functional product equivalent to the product originally sold, throughout the warranty period . Please refer to our Warranty Info section for more details.

To obtain warranty coverage, your product MUST be under warranty. Two replacement options are available for resellers:

  • Early replacement (cross-ship)

    We send you the replacement product before we receive your defective product. You have 30 days to return your defective product to us. To use this service, the product must qualify and credit terms are required or a valid credit card is required. The credit card is used for billing the product which will be sent as a replacement, and will be credited upon return of the defective part.)
  • Regular replacement

    We will send you the replacement product after we receive your defective product.

  1. The return form must be complete or it can be refused.
  2. Return authorization numbers are valid for ten business days. Returns received after this period will be refused upon receipt.
  3. Return authorization numbers must be clearly marked on the outside of all shipping packaging. A packing list must accompany all returns.
  4. GB Micro is not responsible for unauthorized returns or damage caused in transit due to poor packaging on the part of the customer or negligence of the carrier.
  5. Products returned to GB Micro without a valid return merchandise authorization number, with an expired return merchandise authorization number or postage due will be returned to the sender postage due.
  6. Defective products will be subjected to tests. Costs may be charged if the product is not found to be defective ($ 25 per item).
  7. Inventory returns and returns due to discrepancies between the product ordered and the product received must be in their original box, in resale condition, that is to say complete, unopened, undamaged, without inscriptions or stickers affixed. If these conditions are not met, labor and handling costs may be charged. After a period of three working days, the credit will correspond to the lowest price between the invoice price and the market value. A processing fee of 5% will be charged. Minimum of $ 25.
