Transcend's CM10G is an enclosure designed specifically for M.2 PCIe or SATA SSDs. By following the tool-free installation guide, you can turn an M.2 PCIe/SATA SSD into a portable USB 10Gbps external drive to harness the full potential of your system.
Portable Design with Aggressive Heat Dissipation
Transcend's CM10G M.2 SSD enclosure is made of aluminum and plastic, and includes a shock-absorbent silicone rubber cover. Its compact, lightweight, and anti-scratch design makes it perfect for portability. Plus, it features enhanced heat dissipation as well as an LED indicator light that lets you know when the drive is in use.
M.2 Form Factors Supported
Transcend's CM10G M.2 SSD enclosure supports both PCIe and SATA III 6Gb/s interface SSDs in M.2 form factors (2230/2242/2260/2280). SSDs with capacities of up to 4TB can be installed in the enclosure. Both M key and B+M key types can be inserted into the slot.
10Gbps Fast Performance
Transcend's CM10G M.2 SSD enclosure offers transfer speeds up to 10Gbps and supports UASP, delivering R/W speeds up to 1000MB/s*. Experience the incredible power of blistering speed and great performance.
USB Type-A & Type-C Supported
The CM10G M.2 SSD enclosure is designed with a USB Type-C port, and both a Type-C cable and a Type-C to Type-A cable are included, providing maximum flexibility for use with PCs, laptops, mobile devices, as well as gaming consoles.
Tool-free Installation
Remove the enclosure from the rubber cover.
Separate the top and bottom cover.
Adjust the position of the rubber clip according to the length of your SSD.
Insert the M.2 SSD into the adapter and secure the opposite end with the rubber clip.
Remove the protruding plastic film from the thermal pad, attach it onto the SSD, and peel off the film from the other side of the thermal pad.
Close the bottom case and place enclosure in the rubber cover.
Use the included cable to connect the M.2 SSD to the computer.
*CM10G performance will vary according to factors such as the type of SSD installed and the interface of your device. Not all M.2 SSDs may reach the speeds stated above.
